Monica Gonzalez awarded the inaugural Schore Family Fellowship for Teaching & Research

Congratulations to Dr. Monica Gonzalez on being selected to be the inaugural recipient of the Schore Family Fellowship for Teaching & Research!

The prestigious postdoctoral position recognizes Professor Emeritus Neil Schore’s exceptional dedication and contributions to organic chemistry research, teaching, and mentoring as well as his outstanding service to the scientific community. As the Schore Teacher-Scholar, Dr. Gonzalez will serve as the instructor for two organic lecture courses per year and carry out cutting-edge research with a sponsoring faculty mentor (David Olson) in the UC Davis Department of Chemistry.
