Workshop: CV to Resume

This workshop is aimed at supporting graduate students and postdoctoral scholars interested in pursuing careers outside of academia, including but not limited to: the non-profit sector, government, journalism, industry, museum studies, and student affairs. You will be provided the resources and support to convert your curriculum vitae to resume format. This workshop will specifically focus on translating your academic accomplishments and transferable skills to concise sentences that are tailored to fit the job description. We will discuss format, layout, how to make your resume stand out, and use of keywords to describe your experience, skills, and qualifications.
