Chemistry Magic Show
The Chemistry Magic Show is a demonstration of the wonders of chemistry! UC Davis Chemistry students use their knowledge of chemistry to teach, inspire, and amaze people of all ages.
The Chemistry Magic Show took place during Picnic Day on April 12, 2025 in Rock Hall 194.

UC Davis Give Day is almost here! This year Give Day is kicking off on April 11th and concluding on April 12th (coinciding with Picnic Day).
We are happy to announce two Give Day Challenges to support the Department of Chemistry:
Donate to the Chemistry Department's general fund to support our department. Each year, we educate 20,000 undergraduates and support 250 graduate students in laboratories that make discoveries ranging from new drugs to improving carbon capture.
Donate to Chemistry’s general fund to support cutting-edge research in the field. Your gift will help us continue to train the next generation of scientists and foster innovations in chemical biology.
Donate to the Institute for Psychedelics and Neurotherapeutics (IPN) to advance innovative treatments in mental health and neurotherapeutics. Your gift to the IPN helps drive discoveries that could change lives because every contribution fuels our mission to explore groundbreaking, accessible treatments for mental health.
