U.S. National Science Foundation Research Experience for Undergraduates (REUs)
Explore research opportunities at other college/universities across the country. Many of these programs offer travel allowances and housing. Many of these opportunities have deadlines in February/March for research in the following summer.

Course Based Undergraduate Research Experience (FYS-CURE)
These 1 and 2 unit seminars offer an introduction to research approaches for first year students and first year transfers (first year admits and transfers).
Research Training Program (BIG-RT)
Students who participate in this four week session will get practice with fundamental laboratory skills including micropipetting, Polymerase Chain Reaction, and gel electrophoresis
